The Society...

The ADST was formed to be a not-for-profit organization which promotes wildlife protection and animal rights.
One of its professional goals is to increase public awareness of the wonders of wildlife and our natural heritage through its website, photos, meetings and information about the animals. It sends the message that preserving our planet's genetic diversity is critical to our future, and we have to protect our threatened and endangered species.
The Society encourages you too to become more aware of the beauty in nature and challenges you to become more involved in preserving wildlife for future generations.

Its other mission is to make clear that animals are not inferior to humans. They are enviable creatures that have emotions, feelings, and thoughts.
You can help this cause by making it your cause. If you come across any animal-related happenings that you find unethical, morally wrong or inhuman, tell people about it! Write letters, sign petitions.
You can find all the resources on this site to join this cause.

The founder...

Veronika Nagy

As long as I can remember, being close to the nature was my favourite pastimes. Now, I am able to pursue what I have always dreamed of doing - photographing wildlife and trying to kindle people's interest in protecting wildlife and all living creatures that surround us.
This was the motivation which urged me to establish this society.

Enjoy your stay and spread the message!
